Among other things, the two planes of the sculpture, the undulating, almost human-like “face” on the one hand and the straight line which opposes it on the other, permit the piece to establish a link between the curved world of nature and the formal structures which form a human community.

 

The undulating movement of the “face” also evokes the rhythm of the hills and valleys of the Valcourt region, and, during the winter, the waves into which the wind sculpts the snow.
